Tonight I ran into both ends of the spectrum of stang owners on my way home. I merged onto the interstate and saw a black GT very similiar to mine. I checked his car out, then he got behind me and looked over mine then we cruised for awhile before he exited. that's the good kinda owner...

No sooner did he exit I come up on a dark blue V6 w/ a spare on the front. The window was down and I could see it was a punky lookin kid. I was doing about 70 and he was like 65mph so as I started to pass him I hear his car rev up really high but barely moved. I toyed with him without ever shifting out of 5th...

then I got out of his way all the way to the right lane and he goes with me RIGHT on my back bumper for about a mile...I ALMOST brake checked him but I don't want my car to pay the price for him being such a douche.

finally it opened up and I HAMMERED 3rd gear and never saw him again but it really pissed me off...I dunno if he thought I was racing him before that or what but it was really ridiculous.

ANYWAY, end of rant

Haha I was on my way home form work yesterday too when I came up near a 96-98 V6 who a punk like that was driving. I was just driving home from a long day at work and was in no mood to play and all of a sudden I see him start weeving in and out of traffic trying to show off. I didnt bother with the guy.

Please refer to the Mustang Man Laws for what you should do when such scenarios occur.

I had a punky lookin kid in a V6 try to race me as well. This one was about 3 weeks ago. Yeah dude, you really think Ford is going to make your 04 V6 as fast as my 04 GT? What the hell are these kids trying to prove?

I like it when a douche in a V-6 with stripes and Wal-Mart hubcap spinners pulls up next to me when im in the Termi and says "hey thats just like mine, sounds bad ass. You got glasspacks on that?" True story. There was a dude in a 07 GT the other day that was a total douche canoe. He would do 50 in a 70 and when id get to a passing zone he would punch it too. I was in my 96 Cobra and while I could out power him its not enough when he gets on it too to pass him cause of oncomming traffic. I swear if I had cannons

I don't get it man...If I was being a dick and trying to show off, I'd understand the complex from a V6 owner, but going out riding GT's tails until one reminds how slow your car is just makes no sense.

I don't get it either...maybe they just feel threatened and feel they have to prove something. On the few days when I actually drive my GT during the week I get this crap all the time, makes me not wanna even drive it sometimes.

Honestly I think these kind of people believe that all stangs were created equal. They have absolutely no knowledge of cars and believe just cause my car look like theirs then it must be the same exact car. Earlier this year I had a lady in her mid 40s pull up alongside me on the freeway with a six banger (a stock one at that ) reving her engine and enticing me. I'm not going to go into detail about what happened next because I don't want to get but lets just say till this day she is still wondering where I went so fast

My roomate has an 03 V6 but at least he knows his place in the automobile hierarchy.

Had a rice boy in a 350Z weave RIGHT between a vert M3 and myself to try to instigate a race.

Mind you this is 3pm TOURIST traffic in town.

I threw it down a gear and put my foot down... not to race, but to get out of this *******s way because I saw him coming. I quickly went back into normal driving after that... he just kept flying up the road like he won or something.
