Bad battery and alternator...

Between the two, it was spittin' and backfiring, running like crap and he thought he'd done permanent damage. I didn't have the heart to tell him what was really wrong, and in fact didn't know myself till I'd taken possession of the car. He had several things going on in his life and just wanted rid of it.

I tell ya, some people have ALL the luck! lol Nice freebie! the car is in pretty good shape, especially since you got it for free. From what I can tell from the video, it definately has an aftermarket cam in it. How does it drive? It probably makes decent power.

It makes good power. I can see subframe connectors welded in, and the ride reflects that. The brakes, that's another story. They really need upgrading. I'm going to try to put it up on ramps this weekend (if it stops raining) and take a look underneath.

Believe it or not, I could use the good fortune.

It probably still has 4-cyl brakes. I thought I was lucky when I got my 88 coupe(lightly wrecked) for $850. Well, good luck with your freestang. I'll be looking forward to hearing how it does on the track. I noticed you're right next door in MS. Looks like we're gonna be getting more rain tomorrow so yall will be getting somemore too. I hate rain.

Hey neighbor! I just noticed you're in Nawlins. I work at Stennis so I'm practically next door. The guys here at work are prodding me to drive it in from Biloxi, one day I will.

FreeStang, I like that. Geaux SAINTS

understatement times a billion the stock fox brakes are a joke, when i drove my car home someone cut in front of my when i hit the brakes it was like a parachute was slowing the car not the brake system, once i got it home i tore everything off the car and swapped to cobra brakes
