As the title says it saved me from an accident. I was over at my buddies house trying to fix my exhaust leak (which we didn't ). So i'm driving home and its a two lane road and i'm in the right lane and i'm driving next to a SUV. Now i'm about a foot in front of this SUV so its not like i was driving in a blind spot. Anyways i start to notice that this SUV is starting to get rather close (like six inches away). I lay on the horn and its still coming so i did the next logical thing and floored it. Man am i glad i did my headers and X-pipe because i was out of bad situation in no time. I look in my mirror to see its a women driving the car  . So i give her the bird and kept going. Now she is behind me and decides to change lanes again. She almost nails another car. I'm sorry but this isn't the first time i've seen a women in a SUV almost cause an accident. Women and SUVs just don't mix :nonono: . I don't know if she just wasn't paying attention or if she couldn't see my car because she was short and those damn SUVs are so tall but thanks to my headers and X my car was able to see another day. :D

Just thought i'd share.

I almost get run of the road by a woman in an big SUV (on the cell phone) almost once a day (once a week by a dude), thank god for the V8 torque. They just shuffle over to the next lane no blinker, no warning, nothing and if you're going around a turn watchout. I love reving the Magnapacks and scaring the **** outta them though.

i take these idiots on test drives everyday! I sell alot of women Escolades and Yukons and they should have a special license for these large SUV's. They really have no clue how long the truck is and drive it like a Camry.

I drive a lifted Jeep, have driven Explorers, and Excursion, and a Blazer. I have never had a problem with any of them... I think the SUV thing really comes down to the driver. By the time you realized you screwed up in an SUV its usually too late, but you gotta pay attention in the first place.

I know what your talking about with the women thing though. Im not trying to steriotype, but its usually the rich women yapping on cell phones in the Denali (or other big ass SUV) that are just cruising through the lanes without care. AND FREAKIN OLD PEOPLE!!!

But yeah, I had someone cut me off today but I wasnt in the Stang. So they heard mud tires and a screaming inline 6, lol. But I definatly pay more attention to other drivers in the Stang, cause I know getting in a wreck in something this low to the ground will probaly hurt alot more than my Jeep.

But last night I was crusing through the tourist part of town, and I had some dude walk off of the sidewalk directly into my lane without even checking traffic, just walking along. Good thing I was paying attention. I made alot of noise and smoke going by him though, hopefully he got a face full, haha. It was one of those ultra cool "wiggaz"...

I'm just glad nothing happened because its a very good possability that i would have crawled out of my car and ripped the bumper off my car and beat the ever lovn' **** out of that SUV. I have what you call a quick fuse, its a very bad thing. I broke a guys leg once in a fight (due to my quick fuse) well i really didn't break his leg i just tore the ligiments in one od the guys legs.
