I never figured out how to change colors either. I can make a selection of something and tweak it but i know there's an easier way than tracing the whole car.

i have gimp..its easier to use then photoshop imo
i followed this...i just need to take a little more time and follow the line better..i cant tell ya how many times i had to start over because i would be outlining it and then would cough and my mouse would jump one way and fock it all up.

Tracing the car in photoshop is easy... When I do color changes I trace it and then adjust the hue/saturation, color balance, brightness etc..

se above..i have the flu...so every time i outlining it ill cough and then the mouse will jerk a different way  ..

im gonna keep messin with it.but ya thats how i want my 5.0 to look when done.

Ryan, I like the color. Save up some and spray it blue. You already have a new top, so it will look killer!!

P.S. There is no such thing as "cheap" chrome Ponies. Ford Racing has them for 249.99 each, and American Muscle has replicas for the same price. AM calls it "Market Price". WTF....are they serving King Crab Lobster at a seafood resturant??? :rlaugh: You might just have to get some nice silver Ponies which are only 110-118 each. Or you can go to Pony R.com and score some Chrome 17X8's for under 200 per wheel.

Pony R's FTMFW!!!

25th....Give me your opinion. You know I am working on 81 Hach Job...it is gonna be a yellow notchback with 87-93 everything on the outside.

What do I buy.

Chrome Bullit wheels 17X9 rear and 17X8 front...or...

Anthracite Bullit wheels 17X9 rear and 17X8 front...or...

Chrome Pony R wheels 17X9 rear and 17X8 front????

I am torn.. :D

I'm not 25th but I have a opinion. Go with the pony r's. Yellow looks great with chrome. However, bullets don't look good in chrome.
