25th....Give me your opinion. You know I am working on 81 Hach Job...it is gonna be a yellow notchback with 87-93 everything on the outside.

What do I buy.

Chrome Bullit wheels 17X9 rear and 17X8 front...or...

Anthracite Bullit wheels 17X9 rear and 17X8 front...or...

Chrome Pony R wheels 17X9 rear and 17X8 front????

I am torn..

Try not to laugh at the hypocrasy before you read it all but I don't like Bullitts on fox's 99% of the time. A stock or 17x9 Bullitt on a fox to me looks bland and boring. I would much rather see the Pony R's. My friend ha them in chrome on his low mileage reef blue car and they look amazing. If this doesn't sway you, not sure what would .

I personally think the Chrome Pony Rs would look sick on '81 hackjob. Really really really sick! When I go 5 lug on the hatch I will DEFINITELY be purchasing Pony Rs myself!

Don't use the magnetic lasso, use the one that draws a straight line, zoom in some and get it real close. This is how I did it to make the rendering of my car...

25th--Yeah they are pretty damn sweet on there. My only stipulation is the quality. Has he had them long? The chrome still good? I don't see winter/salt. I do see rain only when I get caught in it and I wash the car many times...

fiveohlxhatch---....haha....Thanks man. I was thinking the same thing because the old Yellow verts with chrome 16" Ponies look bada$$....and 17's will be even more bada$$!!!

I didn't want to go Bullit because everybody has them around here on 99+ and on 5 lug Foxes...but they show the brakes off better and I am going to paint the rotors, calipers, and brackets....hhmmmmm... Still stuck!

I use photoshop every day so it is not a big deal to me at least, just do it like 25th stated, and the zoom tool is you friend. Although sometimes I like to try different things on my own or get ideas from other pros. Here is a great site to get those tips. Look through them I know there are several color change tutorials.

Not sure how long but he did get them first run I think. They seem to be holding up well, but then again I haven't looked them over real close. I think your car wiith them would look great though!

Good enough...Dimitris said the 2nd run is better than the first. If you ever see him within the next 2 months shoot me a PM. Thanks 25th.

I was leaning toward Pony R's 100%, then changed to Bullit's 100%...now it's 50/50.

pony r's would be nice but i cant afford new wheels and tires. i could if i wanted but i already have 99 GT wheels in the garage for it and half of what i need to 5 lug it...idk what i wanna do yet..ponys are simple and clean...if i could find a set for CHEAP i would just go with them and sell my 5 lug stuff.

Ryan. Go with the blue in the photoshop pic. It is frickin sweet. You can do wheels anytime in the future. The 99GT wheels will look good until then.

That is really nice Ryan. I can't wait to see that. You have that new black top too which looks amazing. I love seeing fresh tops on Mustangs because most of them are crappy. I know a couple people with 99-04's that already look bad. Another thing to keep in mind is paint all your black trim. You can't beat a fox with fresh paint and fresh trim peices.

25thmustang: would you mind terribly letting me know as well? I'm likely going the PonyR route once I get my 5 lug stuff together, hopefully this spring.

Ryan218: The blue you've picked would look great. IMO Focus on the bodywork and figure out your wheels later.
