I did a weak photoshop of that same scheme, the GTO blue and the Cobra wheels. Wheels came out awful but the paint looks so so. I will post it when I get home tonight.

I never really cared for chrome Ponys, 16s or 17s...but then i don't care for chrome at all really unless it's on an old hotrod. I think nice clean 17'' Pony R's in silver wouuld accent that blue perfectly.

Right so find yourself a clean set of Ponys with no curb rash and give them a new coat of paint and you'll be set.

I have never had chrome wheels on a Stang. I am not crazy about them either, I prefer silver, but this yellow notch has got to have something big.

Oops, at your age I spent $1480 on Cobra Rs with tires (actually I was 15 when I did that), and idk how much else on stupid stuff. At that age thats what you do, waste money on things like that.

At least thats how I did it!

Enjoy being irresponsible as long as possible NOW. As soon as you have to start spending money on school/rent/mortgage/health insurance, the dream ends fairly quickly.

aint that the truth, paying the mortgage sucks, but at least no body can tell you what to do with it for the most part.

yeah i get ya. BUT there is no way i would spend close to $1,500 bucks on wheels and tires. Sorry but id rather spend 400 or close to no more then 500 though on wheels and tires and then the other 1,000 go for variuos small things.

budget H/C/I

i do buy some stupid stuff that i dont need but i would never spend that much on cobra r's. off course when you were 15 my guess is that the cobra r's wernt as common as they are now.

I was 15 almost 8 years ago, so you would be right. There was no Ebay rims and tires for $700 back then. The best you could do was Tire rack and others for $1400 or so. I got them locally.

My weak ass attempt.

better then mine, mine was all blotchy and didnt reflect like it should off. i like it..cant wait till i paint it, im trying to talk my dad into letting me drive the GT while my stang is getting painted since it was his idea to wait till spring to paint it, i think its only fair

there is only one thing i would change on that chop!

Yeah my rims look like chit, but I did them in Paint, LOL.

Also this is the quote from my friend I PMed... about the Pony Rs.

"I purchased them towards the end of last season, I am very pleased with the quality.I would give them a 10 out of 10.
I purchased the original set of 17x8s and then bought a set of 17x9s for the back.

I will have a set for sale soon..."
