My first kill

Yeah,I agree, its depends on the time and place!! Besides street racing, theres times when I come to a stop sign,in rural spots, when theres no one around I will stand on the gas pedal and make all sorts of noise and smoke!! The only thing Im hurting is my back tires :D

even if street racing stopped 100%, the accidents and fatalities would just occur more often at the track. albeit at a substanially lower percentage, and the threat to bystanders/pedestrians/other motorists would be the main thing that is eliminated. plus having EMT's around certainly doesnt hurt anything.

the main thing associated with street racing is novice drivers driving at high rates of speed in poor conditions (as stated by several others already).

i personally do not initiate street races, and have turned down WAY more races than ive participated in. but, there are some races you cant just turn down.

btw, congrats on the kill! there are few things in life that feel as good as beating someone who used to be able to beat you!

You beat an SRT4 and you only run 14.8? :bs:

:nonono: We've been through this, didn't you read my posts, OR my sig?! Geez.... 14.8 BEFORE Cobra intake, throttle body, CAI, and at a crappy track with NO traction. :nonono:

You drive a stang and only managed a 25 @ 40 mph?? what the heck is up with that??

The day they started racing is the day the world's 2nd car was built.
People have been street racing for ever. It's not just a rice thing.
Street racing is fine, as long as it's done smart. No excessive speeds like 120mph, no bumpy or slick roads, not through any intersections, no in-and-out of traffic bs, you know what I mean.

It's not always good, or always bad to street race. Every situation is different.

Sorry for not replying sooner, been busy. As to a smart ass :nonono: comment that I read above, this is my first kill and I've had 1 loss only to him. Why? Cause I don't race all the time and I know my car isn't that fast so I'm not looking for races. About street racing, I agree that it's unsafe but when you live out in the boonies and noone is around, it's just as safe as the track, maybe safer since it's wider. Thanks to all of those who know how much it hurt my pride when I lost to a stocker. But I understand that he's got a 5-speed, and he's also a vert, so it's all due to tranny now.

PS, ARED1995Gt, sorry man, don't need it anymore, I got the l/t so I'm looking for a prochamber for those. Thanx :flag:
