Hey everyone its nina from hawaii. I bought a 5.0 last night from a friend. Its needing some TLC. I am going in this blind. Only having a love for the stangs. But I figure a good challenge would be good for me. So I would love any suggestions or ideas.

List:
First on the list I need motor mounts. I am currently on americanmuscle.com looking at 2 different ones. One is the Maxium Motorsports Solid Mounts, or the Drop Engineering Solid Racing Mounts. Let me know what you all think. Thanks

avoid solid mounts on street cars, unless you love to feel engine vibration

I know a few of my buddys say solid motor mounts, but there not saying why? So why "no" to solid mounts. I dont have any pics as of right now, I just got the ok to buy it last night. I do want to race her when all said and done, but she will be my daily as well.

a motor shakes when running but motor mounts with rubber dampen this so you dont feel it shaking the car. solid mounts are good for all out race because the throttle responce is slightly better due to no drivetrain flex. they are also stronger if you are going to make big HP numbers

I'm over at Hickam. If you needed some local help I'd be game.
