My Gears Messed Up?

Ok, ive found out, that when i accellerate from 2nd and when i reach 5500-6000 RPM and try to shift into 3rd, it wont go in. Am i going to high that i have to shift into 4th? Most of the time it wont go into 3rd, but sometimes its about to go in, then BAM!!!!!, it pops right out and it really hurts my hand. My clutch is ALL the way pushed in. I usually dont let go of the clutch until i hear it click (i have the tri-ax shifter so its loud). I think its messing up my gears. Any one know whats going on?

Sounds like something is screwed up and the shifter is being forced out of gear by a syncro, not good.

Might want to double check the stops on your shifter, they may have came loose.

Had/have the same problem. Cars been in the shop all week with no word on what is wrong or if or when they can fix it. But it is certainly not what is supposed to happen.

Hate to say it but you really need to get it into a dealer who knows what they are doing and who cares....

Sounds like a syncro problem. My 95 does that sometimes, it would pop back in your hand.
