Thanks for all the input guys, Im leaning more towards it being a dead mouse then it being mold or water damage. Reason being that we havent had much for rain at all the past few weeks, nothing that would cause any water damage if it did leak. We got a ton of rain this summer and my interior was never wet and it does make sense that a mouse would be looking for a warm place to stay since the nights are getting cool now and there looking for warm places to stay other then outdoors IE.. Our houses or our MUSTANGS
I was at a freinds last night from about 6:30 PM to 11:45 and I had my windows closed w/ the doors locked b/c its an apartment complex and I dont trust all the people there. Anyway I go to leave and the inside of my car REEKS!!! Im going to pull back the trunk liner and other panels today and see if I can find a body anywhere. In a way I want to find something so I know what the smell is comming from but in a way I dont want to find a dead mouse in my car either, especially after its started to rot
Dont ask me how I can go to work and deal w/ murderes and child killers and get all freaked out over a dead mouse in my car.

good ones
( reminds me of the seindfeld eposide). I poped the trunk and took out all the crap that has been accumlating in there over the summer and came to discover that my trunk liner was soaked, I pulled it off and theres slimy gross stuff under it which I take to be mold. Its odd though b/c the trunk or the liner dosent really smell bad but the inside of the car still stinks, you can smell it over the febreeze. As of now the trunk is cleaned out and the liner is pulled out, Im going to let it dry out and then bleach the trunk later today and see if that kills the smell or not. Hopefully this fixes it before I pass off my keys to some bum like seinfeld did.
Turned out it was the carpting/trunk liner that was causing the gawd aweful smell. Since I took it out of the car yesterday morn I have not smelled that odor again. I Just want out to the car after it sitting all night w/ the windows up and it smells fine.
Good to hear... now if you fart, everyone will know it.
