go with some cobra clear headlights, you can find them all over ebay

2 piece headlights sucks, don't get me wrong, clear 2 piece are tight on alot of our cars - but 95Stroker's set is the one I'm going with - one piece just looks sick IMO.
Check ebay for "mustang projectors" and you'll find some good ones. The clear 2 piece work well too in terms of brightness. Trust me I feel you I'm ditching the stockers over Christmas.

the one piece headlights do look good but i hear theres some minor fitment issues you have to deal with. if you dont mind modifing a little then i say go for itTripleBlack95 said:

I got news for you and anyone else....99.9% of those ebay headlights are going to fill up with condensation. As soon as you get them you might as well hit every seam with some rtv and cross your fingers.

My stock headlights are showing their age as well. I have trouble seeing at night and pretty much drive around with my brights on. And when it rains, it's even worse. Is there any outfit aside from ebay that someone would recommend getting a nice set of clear 2 piece headlights from? I don't want that euro projector look, but just a tasteful clear set of lenses that aren't pieces of crap.

I got the smoked Cobra headlight kit from Blue Oval Industries and they are great. Granted, the smoked look will take a little brightness away, but they are better than my stock lights when they were new. My stock lights were horrible.
I've washed my car many times and been through many car washes and no leaks at all in the new headlights and side markers.
Get some clears or smoked ones. They improve the look big time and will fix the brightness issue.

Yes, you can find decent ones on eBay. I had a set of cobra knockoffs and they looked great. I think they costed me about $100. No fogging or yellowing and I had them for about 2 years. I ended up breaking the tabs on one side trying to get mine out so had to get new ones. So I just bought a set of OEM Cobra headlights from someone selling them off of his 95 cobra. When I got them, I made sure they were stamped and had the Ford part number on them. I can tell you that they look exactly like the ones I had from eBay. I ran a new one side by side with an old one and the light pattern that they shine is almost exactly the same. I use mine with an HID conversion kit though, so it makes a world of a difference over stock bulbs, or ANY aftermarket halogen bulb. Honestly, that is the only way you are going to get a good amount of light on the road. They are like I am using brights all the time, but you have to be willing to spend $350 on the kit.

One thing I bet you didn't know is that Blue Oval Industries sells these on eBay too, so it doesn't matter that it is being sold on eBay. It matters if you get them from a reputable company on eBay. I did not get mine from Blue Oval Industries because I feel that they are overpriced for the same stuff you will ger from a different company on eBay. Just make sure they have good feedback. I actually bought 2 sets of projectors for my Integra from eBay and they are nicer than the OEM set. (I had to buy 2 sets because of an accident)
My main advice would be NOT to get projectors unless you are going to get an HID kit. I had projectors on my mustang years back with stock bulbs. I switched the bulbs and put in a better bulb (supposedly they were one of the best halogens out at $85 per set) and they still sucked (in terms of how bright they were on the road). Even if you got the cobra lights with stock bulbs, they would be brighter than the projectors. The ideal set would be to get the headlights you like and then to get an HID conversion kit to go with. And this is IF you want the brightest and best lighting you can get. Otherwise, you will be a little better than stock, but not much. just my $.02

i have seen this in person, and it did not look good. they look great in picture, but once you see them on a car, you can definately see the fitment is off--mainly w/ the parking light side. it doesn't go in the way it's supposed to and doesn't stick far back enough, either. i'm glad i went w/ the two-piece--fit isn't 100%, but it's around 97%. got them off the ebay seller symmic.urban96 said:

Mine were the same way. I could barely see at night. Then I took some cleaner, #0000 fine steel wool to get the yellow out and a buffer w/ 3 stages buffing/wax compound, and they looked brand new. After that, my headlights lit up the street like never before!!!! It's amazing how bright the headlights can be when they aren't diffused by the oxidized housing.

In a "good" headlight lens ..... you can tell a major imrovement with Silverstars vs. others.
I've used the Silverstars on several different vehicles. When I put them in my Stang (very yellow headlight lenses) .... it made no difference. When I actually get around to getting some nice lenses .... the Silver's will work great.

The OEM lights were in a plastic casing, but the Blue Oval ones were in a metal casing (didn't weigh any more though). Fitment was perfect and the brightness is much improved.
I only bought these after I had received good feedback and pics from several members here with the exact same lights I got (smoked cobra clear headlights and corners).

Just sand them down to 2000 grit and Plastix them a couple times and they'll be like new again. If you decide to go with one piece lights, have fun trying to aim them properly.
