I can't believe it. We got the motor and tranny in today! My buddy Dan is an amzaing mechanic. He's the one that has been helping me build this thing. We had the motor and tranny in in 3.5 hours. That included attaching all accessories, driveshaft, and crossmember. I just need a few O-rings for the intake valley coolant tube and then we can put the intake on. She'll be going vroom vroom by tomorrow. It won't have the blower on yet but I'll be able to break her in!!! Here she is!

No Actually. We put it in with the tranny and the passenger header attached. We set the driver side header in the engine bay and dropped the motor around it. My buddy Dan isn't a big guy and he's an amazing mechanic so he could get his hands in and attach all the header bolts. It only took him maybe an hour to get all 8 bolts tightened. Now all there is is to put the intake on, attach the wiring harness, put the radiator and fan in and we're off to the races. I'm so pumped I should be driving her tomorrow. I still need to put the fuel pump in but that isn't imperative right now to run it N/A for a week or two. Thanks for the support guys. This has been a long haul with a lot of money and stress i can tell ya. Almost over though and very worth it .

Unfortunately those are still stock PI heads. That is my restriction now. I have to save for ported heads, that will be a year or two down the road. I just want to enjoy it for a while. Tranny and rearend will come first.
