My new/old Daily driver pics....

I would still like a 78 Rabbit with euro headlight conversion and a current 2.0T swap or a 69 type III fasty turbo w/ porsche 5 spd in my garage.

I really need to invest in a shop building.

I would love to do the same 2.0T swap & euro headlight conversion on my Jetta. It would make a very fun DD...

That JETTA IS BADASS!!!! I LOVE IT!

so clean!

Thanks guys!!!:D

I'd actually like to have those front seats.Great looking car. When I saw "VW",I didn't have high hopes, but that car really is nice.

I was wondering if these seats would fit in my fox? They would look bad@$$ if they did. Im sure it would take custom brackets, but they look like they would fit... Look kinda similar to 03/04 Cobra seats IMO...

Not really my thing, but very clean cars nonetheless! Looks like your family takes great care of their cars.

We try to keep our cars nice...

very clean! whats the mileage up to on both of them?

Thanks. Im not sure what the exact mileage is on either car because unfortunately most 80's VW's odometer's stop working after 120k or so... Kinda sucks, but oh well, they run great & strong so thats all that matters. I would guess that the 86 GLI has @ least 150-175k miles on it, but was just maintained very well.

These 1.8 ltr VW motors from the 80's-90's are just as bulletproof as the good ol' Ford 302 when taken care of....

Thanks... I would like to see some pics of your Merkur. Those are pretty cool cars...

Here ya go. My paint is nowhere near as clean as yours though.

Hahaha, I think you're confusing "bulletproof" with "reliable when not modified" :D

Old Rabbits FTW. I dated a girl in highschool with an 85-86ish stick shift 'vert. The thing was a blast to drive, like a go kart on steroids.

Come to think of it, that whole relationship could have been described as "rabbits on steroids"... :p
