So, as I stated in a previous post, I finally graduated college. At the graduation, my grandpa didn't have a gift for me. He said "You'll have to wait until you come to the house in Kentucky for Christmas." So, I went there for a couple of days, and the first night I was there, he called me into his personal office to talk.
After a long conversation, I found out that THIS was his graduation gift to me...
An all original 1930 Model A. 78495 original miles. I'm keeping it in his garage for now though, until I have a different place with a well-built garage of my own. The only thing it needs to run is a battery, but it hasn't been started since 1998, so I will be rebuilding and cleaning up the engine, as well as replacing any seals, since seals tend to wear out pretty quickly in Model A's. Other than than, it's perfect. The body is in perfect shape with all the original parts. Not a single dent on the car and absolutely NO BONDO. I can't wait to get started on this thing!
