my new toy...?

hey guys, i just bought an 89 notch with a 347, afr185's. it was some longblock offered by d&d when they were still in business, advertised as their 500hp motor. my biggest "huh?" was that it had the stock ignition, other than the msd coil, and it had just a cobra intake. ive been out of the mustang scene for about 9 years (when i was in high school, and i can now finally afford a toy car), what are the best intakes out there right now? seems like the cobra intake would starve a motor that big. cobra intakes were old-school even back in 02. now, i imagine they are dinosaurs. any and all suggestions welcome

the paint and interior are "eh", its a 4cyl conversion. it has the 347 with afr185's arp studs, cam, 1.6 rockers, hooker longtubes, h-pipe, flowmaster single chambers, t5, aluminum driveshaft, 8.8 rear out of a gt w/3.73, alum radiator, alum upper&lower control arms, couple gauges, bbk short throw, cobra intake, bbk cold air, 75mm throttle, upgraded mass air, 190lb/hr fuel pump (i know, seems like it would need a 255), 24 lb injectors (i would think it needs 32), adjustable regulator. motor has less than 30k, some kid wrecked his old car & motor sat for 2 years till this dude bought it& put it in his notch. feel i got a good buy @ $3700. car is stupid fast, but i feel it has more potentially restricted hp.

He couldn't tell me what size cam, other than it was a "custom" d&d cam. I would guess .512 area maybe. The power band dramatically falls off after around 4500rpm, which leads me to believe it needs a beefier ignition system. So trick flow.... track heat, street heat?
