This has been my project now for about 18 months. This is the first time in about 4 months it been rolled out of the garage ( top half of motor being powercoated by a friend ). Just wanted everyone to see the project. Car started as a true 5.0, but had a terrible case of rust/rot. In came a donor 4 cyl. and the project began. It still will wear the original black interior, which I think will look great with the grey exterior. The other 5.0 in the pics is my daily driver, an all stock coupe with an AOD trans. On mods are flowmasters with 3.73's. And 1986 GT seats. Let me know what you think so far. Unsure of what wheels are going to end up on the 1993, might stay with the cobras for now.

Photobucket should have the IMG tags to copy below the picture. Just copy the tags and paste them here, and you should be good to go. It says IMG code next to the code you'll need to copy. Just checked my own photobucket account.

I love those cars....but man that grey hatch is frickin awesome with those 97 Cobra wheels. I have those on my black 91 notch. But yours are like brand new. Mine have minor dings in the center caps from taking them off, and minor curb rash. WOW...unbelievably clean....keep er up!

Thanks, I used a Mothers polishing ball on them about a month ago and they came out pretty good. I am still undecided though on if I will keep them on there. First I have to get the motor back together and finish up on some minor interior work, than maybe I can focus on the wheels.

Well, it is your car....but let me persuade you to keep them:D :D Everywhere I go people ask "Are those 97 Cobra wheels?" I say yes. "I don't like them on 96-98 Cobras, but they look awesome on that fox body"

If you don't keep them, I definately wouldn't sell them cheap, or at all. California Mustang wanted 279.99 a peice for those. I don't think you can get them anymore.

As of right now, the top end of the engine is out for powdercoating along with numerous brackets and clamps and anything else I could think of. My friend is starting a powdercoating business and is doing all my stuff at his cost. So I cannot complain about how long it is taking. As for the interior, it is stock black interior but is only about 75% done. I still need a new headliner with sunvisors, custom door panels and will probably replace the seats with newer GT or Cobra seats. I will get more pics up when the motor is reassembled and as funds allow to finish the interior.
As for the wheels, the more I see them on the car, the better I like them. This is the first time the car has been out of the garage since it returned from paint in November. It was like seeing it again for the first time and I really do like them.

These are the two cars that jointed together to form the charcoal hatch. The silver is the car that had horrible rot issues around the door hinges and basically the whole firewall area due to sunroof drains that were not working. The green car is the 4 cyl. car that now has been transformed into the charcoal car. Big difference with a lot of time and effort by myself and friends.
