Roush my saleen is a LEMOn!!!

my car has been in and out of Ford service department every month or so for the last year and a half for the same problem, the serpentine belt continues to shred. On top of that the service engine light came on the week after i bought it for the egr valve, the brake lights stoped working, the chrome peeled off one wheel, and to top it off, the ac just stoped working and its the middle of summer!!!

almost forgot..my hood is cracked along with the paint from the belt breaking and slapping the underside of the hood...

I had an issue with the belt also. There is a little nub that sticks out the was supposed to be grinded off by Saleen. I have heard of many people with the same problem and Saleen is aware of it. Call the Saleen warranty dept. They will send your dealership a picture of what to grind off. I haven't had any problems since.

Man that is awful as your car is a real beauty. I have had my '02 for a couple of years now and have had 0 trouble out of it. There is ofcourse the usual first class paint job but other than that no complaints. I have only put 2,500 miles on mine in 2 years though and its non-s/c.
