well it was real nice out yesterday so i washed and waxed the old girl.
and so today it snowed
my wife got me new wheels for christmas but i cant put them on till christmass day.
the hood seas 302 becouse i was gona do the v8 swap but desided after getting everything lined up i wanted to go 2.3t so thats what is going in after the new year. i want to get an svo style hood but the only one i have seen for the 87-93 has a center scoop i want it to the side like the svo has.
also what kind of car can i get a rear sway bar off, and what do i have to do to put it on? i also want to beef up the front swaybar what do you guys think?

Looks good. One of the first times I waxed my car, I finished and within 5 minutes it was pouring (sp). Now I check the weather whenever I plan to wash or wax.
You can get sway bars from GT's, I believe they are a bit thicker ... as for installing ... I can't help you there. I forget who has them from a GT - maybe Dr.? Or Red? People will chime in here.
EDIT: Any fox body GT I believe. I have only heard others use them from 87-93 though.

car looks great! bummer the hood say's 302 'cause I like the graphic otherwise.

A turbocoupe has (I think) even a stiffer swaybar than the GT's. And even cooler if you can find one is the sway bars off the '84-86 Mercury Cougar XR7 turbo's. These are stouter than my SVO swaybars and I've got a set to put on the 'vo. The XR7 turbo's came with a suspension performance package from the factory.

To install you remove the old ones, bolt on the new ones. Pretty easy. BUT...get the front swaybar bushings off the salvage sway bar so you have the proper diameter for your new front sway bar.

yeah, make sure to replace the bushings when you do it too, they dont cost that much for the front, and the back doesnt have any. I recommend the Poly bushings, it really tightened up my car alot. The turbocoupe sway bar IS thicker then the GT bar is, I have a TC bar in the garage and the GT bar on the car, so i cant tell you what the difference in handling is, but the TC bar is a tad thicker.

the hood will be changed soon i will replace the 302 with something along the lines of "svo" i did a few photo chops 2.3 looked bad svo looked good if any one else can think of something i would like your input. i like svo but it does not have the motor yet
also i just got told by a guy on another mustang site that a svo motor is only good for 300hp
i gess he has never seen some of the nubers posted here.
he re is the pic he sent me of what he did to his
he said this when i asked what happened, "Too much boost. 30psi on pump gas was fast, but didn't last long, even with a liquid to air IC."
didnt mikesvor run 30lbs all the time on 4banger?

You won't be able to fit an actual SVO hood on your car. Your only options for 87-93 is the hood you've already seen that is center. You could probably graph a hood scoop onto your current hood in the position you want, but I don't know how the lines would match up. Plus it would be pretty tough for a novice to do, but not out of the question.

Car looks decent. I would advise however from putting "SVO" anywhere on your car. Besides, even if you do the 2.3T swap, there is a lot more to an SVO then just the engine.
