My supercharger build....

This thread is going to be moving pretty slow since I wont be getting any major parts until next spring. I decided to wait until I get the car paid off with or at least around $1500 owed, then ill drop the ball on everything that I'll need.

My goal is to buy the Tork Tech terminator kit in April. Then start looking for all the other stuff I'll need and have it running and dyno tuned by June at the latest.

Ive already bought the first of it though. I found this on a local forum and ended up getting it all for $80. Stock Cobra heat exchanger, intercooler resevoir, and Auto Meter steering column gauge pod.

My Lightning MAF arrived today. I got the oem Cobra intake for $25 shipped, and the maf for $50 shipped. I ended up buying a pair of oem Cobra fog lights for $10 locally. Sold them for $60 shipped, so basically the lmaf was free. :D

So could someone spell out every piece needed for this swap? I really want to look into it but I can see its going to take a few pieces. I know the biggest and obvious is the Cobra blower but other than that? And is an intercooler or heat exchanger optional? (not that I would want to go without one of those but still nice to know).

A non intercooled kit is available.

Parts you need...just a little run down..
blower, plenum, tb
intake
90mm maf
injectors
fuel pump
heat exchanger
intercooler reservoir
intercooler pump
intercooler lines
Cobra throttle and cruise control cable
etc..

here's the list from tork tech of what their kit includes and what else you'll need to buy

The Intercooled Terminator Kit Includes:

# Aluminum lower intake manifold with remote coolant thermostat housing.
# High capacity intercooler resides inside the lower manifold directly below the customer provided '03/04 Cobra Supercharger.
# Front engine cross brace assembly that provides a independent 8-rib supercharger drive assembly with all belt tensioners and idlers.
# 7" lower piggy back style crank pulley that attaches to the factory pulley dampener to complete the separate 8-rib drive belt assembly.
# Installation is straight-forward and can easily be completed by any DIY enthusiast with basic hand tools in a weekend or less.

The customer is responsible for these items to complete the kit
# Terminator Supercharger with pulley and appropriate belt.
# Larger fuel injectors to meet what ever HP/TQ level you achieve. We expect most who use this kit will easily achieve 350 to 400 HP, depending upon boost level so TTI suggests at least 39 to 42# injectors.
# Upgraded in-tank fuel pump.
# Air to water heat exchanger.
# Fluid pump to transfer coolant between the intercooler core and the heat exchanger.
# Fluid reservoir to allow for a place to add coolant and check fluid level.
# Coolant lines, hose clamps, engine belts, etc. are not included since we do not know what you plan to use for a heat exchanger, or where you will be mounting it.
# Complete intake assembly, such as a throttle body, intake tube, MAFS, and filter.
# Custom computer tune

i have a black belt in cut and paste :nice:

Tork Tech Build Parts

Hey guys I started doing one of these swaps myself. I got most of the parts necessary together (minus the kit from Tork Tech). In the end though I decided to go a different route and get a new supercharger kit so I have a lot of the pieces for sale for you guys who are looking into doing the swap. Currently I am trying to sell an Eaton M112 Supercharger (03 Cobra), Heat Exchanger, Intercooler Reservoir, Ported Cobra Throttle Body, and NEW JLT True Fenderwall CAI. Basically I figured if I was going to do it I was going to do it right. Unfortunately at the end of the day I was approaching the price of a new Vortech kit which didn't make a ton of sense. PM me if any of you guys are interested. Good luck with the your builds!!! 400rwhp at <2000 rpm is awesome!

:nonono:Soon as I am getting out of this "He Haw Hell," this will be something that I am wanting to do for sure. Dude please, please, please, be accurate on everything so that this can be a sticky. Like right down to how to obtain the supercharger parts and serial number. You have my best hopes. Thread subscribed to.
