Mystery Pic in Ford Windtunnel

There is a picture in the Cobra Jet website of a dragster in a Ford wind tunnel- the mystery is that it is similar but different than the picture on the front of Hot Rod Magazine done in 1965.
--can any of you solve the mystery?

Mystery Picture

Hot Rod used to have an archive web site- I could not find it but I have the magazine-on the cover in Aug of 1965 there was a picture of a dragster in Ford's windtunnel- it was a wild picture as there was flame shooting 15 feet behind the car- someone posted a picture of the same car - but no flames--the question was -how did he get that picture?
This site has a number of interesting posts on the engineering that went into the perf cars in the late sixties.
