Looking at purchasing a nice '65 Mustang with this engine. Current owner does not know the source of this engine installed in the car a few years ago. (It's mated to a 4-speed top loader and a 9-inch rear end.

Any expert opinions appreciated.

Just looking at the age of the ignition system, I would guess that it's a non-roller 302.

Of course, anyone could have converted it to anything.
