so i picked up a nail in the right rear, for my mustang GT's TWO-MONTH-OLD birthday.
Already got it plugged.
Platform:
stock 2007 GT-vert
anticipating 1-2 turbos this summer, w/ some suspension & tire/wheel mods this fall
BF Goodrich TA's G-FORCE KDWS
P235/50ZR 18 Z-Tires
Habits:
RARE stop light drags, no track Drag racing any time soon.
topped it out @127 with the top open a few times (probably WILL do this some more)
topped it out @142.5 with the top buttoned up (probably won't do this very much)
no burnouts, rare 1st gear rubber, numerous 2nd gear scratches
lots of hard accelerating through 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
sane (not maniacal) braking
anticipate keeping under 110 most of the time
so . . .
to what degree should I worry about it at speed, because of the plug???
(compared to BEFORE the nail, slow leak, & plug)

ps does anyone know what the kdws stands for? (on the tires?)
pps what about "internal" patches (compared to simple plug patches) for a performance tire?
