NASA American Iron racing in the NW

I've brought this up before, but there seems there might be some renewed interest in the NW. How many people the post here might really be interested in an NW American Iron Series?

For every one that is interested, we're starting a list of interested parties.
Please e-mail Brad's Custom Auto at bradscustomauto@comcast.net if you want to be added to the list of potential competitors. Make sure you put American Iron in the subject line so it gets pass along to the correct person. We have some one that has volunteered to be the go between person with the ICSCC.

Please pass this along to every one you know that would have interest. The way the rules are written American Sedan cars could come run too. They might be a little slower, but it would help fill the field. If you have F-body buddies that would be up for it tell them too.

There have been a good number of AI & CMC cars in other regions that have been built that way. People team up and share the build and track time.

ICSCC seems to be open to the idea. We just need to show them that there is a
demand for the class. Bill Visee is doing a great job with the leg work.

347HO, the Series in the NW will be sanctioned by ICSCC http://www.icscc.com/
You will need to join the local associate club, IRDC is the club I'm a member of.

The process is laid out pretty well on the site-

You have to first take the 2 day school. If you pass you are issued a Novice license. Then you must complete 3 Novice races. Once that happens if the stewards feel your ready they issue your Competition license. It can all be done locally, no need to goto Cali to get a license. This is the most cost effective way to do it. You could also goto one of the Competition Schools around the country.
