Yep, I remember those days... had a 68 Mustang Fastback back in the '70s with 289 punchout to 292, CRANE 286 cam, Edelbrock Torker intake Offset with 600 Holley, cyclone headers, and B&M C-4 trans.

He used some aftermarket thing and stuff and also mentioned breaking the c-clip in the video, specifically.68 used a 8" with drop in center section, big block got the 9" but they didn't have C clips, bolt on retainer on the axle, I have seen retainers fail on an 8" and the axle leave the party ( or was the 'party' just getting started when it exited?) I didn't watch all of it.
