NE1 using the Crane Boost retard TRC-2??

The dial sets the number of degees of retard per pound of boost. So if you set it at one, then when you're making one pound of boost the timing will be retarded one degree, and when you're making two pounds, two degrees of retard and so on. If you set the dial at 2, then when you're making one pound of boost, there will be 2 degrees of retard, and two pounds of boost would equal 4 degrees of retard and so on. Clear as mud?

Its not set up like that. In the instructions it states divide the dail into 5 sections and that is a slope of some sort. There isn't a 1, 2, 3 etc... kinda set-up on the dail. Thats whats confusing me..

Yeah, numbering the darn dial would help quite a bit. Basically, straight up is at 10. So 1/2 way to the left is 5, 1/2 way to the right is 15. Make sense yet? Basically you want it set to retard 1 degree of timing per 1lb of boost.
