I hid my wires but now quite sure, I'd rather have the wires where I can get to them easily. Anyone have pics of underhood wiring not hidden inside the fenders, but cleaned up and such to look real neat and clean? I'd like to see how you did it.

how hard was it to hide your wires, ive been meaning to do it but just havent had the time.im mainly going to hide the pass and driver side not really worring about the firewall.let me know.and how is your lx conversion going

This is definitely a first ... "How do I unhide my wires?" :rlaugh:

I would think to have them exposed, but look good, your best bet would be to run them low along the fenders, like at the base of the shock towers maybe. If you can keep them away from the headers, I would think that would be the cleanest place to run wires and have access to them.

Hiding wires wasn't that bad, just tedious, I never really finished it. It might look great for a show car but then again, if there was a problem, it would be more difficult to test and fix. I am also going to have to lenghen some wires as well. I might just keep them hidden, but if I can run them exposed but neat, that might be best.

Swapping to a LX isn't hard at all, easier than messin with the wiring. There are several rows of small rivets that need to come out. They will hardly be noticable and when I do paint it, easy to fill. I think I'll go take some pics so I can post them later.

They really are not that bad to get to after you hide them. You will have to take the tire off and remove the inner fender, but that's at. I did some work about 2 weeks ago on my wiring and it really wasn't that much of a hassle at all. Plus, all of the my 10 pin connectors and dizzy wires come up from the tranny tunnel. All of the other wires go through new holes inside of the fender wells. Well worth the looks if you ask me.
