The owner claims he brought it to a mechanic who drove it and said its an EGR valve, but did not check the codes. Im still gonna have the codes checked out, but will still proabably not buy the car. He claims that somebody else is going to give him full price for the car as soon as he can get approved for a loan. Besides problem with the motor not staying running the front bumper needs paint and my painter told me that would proabably run 500 or a little less. (if i kept the original bumper he suggested getting an oem bumper that is already stripped and primed to save a little money)

i'm thinking about selling mine. check my sig for info. 103K miles. it is/has been a great car ... never any problems ... daily driver ... new cloth top ... aftermarket stereo w/subwoofer. i have about $14,000 in it ... i'd sell it for $11,000. the front bumper will be re-painted in about a week. pics here:

I've got over 146,000 miles on my 94 coupe and have never had problems like you described. OMG, I would think about selling my car too if it ran that bad.

I take my stang on business trips, so I get to take it on long trips (2 to 6 hours one way) a few times each month. No problems.

You should look elsewhere and find a stang that's better taken care of OR get this one for a couple grand less than asking price. Otherwise, that car is just gonna cost you more and more money from the start JUST to get it running properly.

Also the check engine light was on (were thinking thats a result of the two rear exhaust sensors being taken off when a flowmaster system was put on).

We only have 2 exhaust(O2) sensors. Only 96+ cars have the pre and after cat 02 sensors.

with that many miles 4000 or under seems like a decent price. I got mine for 4k and wished I offered less with all the problems I had.
