I am looking for a reliable turbo company. I am only looking for a turbo head unit. I am going to fab the turbo into the motor compartment and the motor myself. My goal as of now is to produce around 8lbs of boost (Intercooled). I have looked into G-Reddy, HKS, and more but dont know which is better than the others any help on the topic will help!

Parts I will need:
Turbo (Of some sorts not made up my mind yet which one), 30 lbs Injectors, Billet BEGI FMU and a 30 lbs Mass Air Flow Meter, and more!. Also I will deffinetly need a tune when done!!

Do you have a budget of at least $6k? BTW, supercharger would be far cheaper and easier...

Turbonetics and Precision both make great head units. Good luck with your own custom build, I'll be going with a Hellion Kit myself with a turbonetics t-76.

i wont take 6k. You can build a custom a whole lot cheaper,

If you do it your self, about 1.5K well 2.3

Really?
If you have the time and equipment it MAY be less.But turbo kits are best made for a track car.A supercharger is by far cheaper,easier to tune and less headaches.

I can point you to a few turbo 2v's that have switched back to blowers because of headaches esp in the power department.

man save yourself the headache. Just get a blower. I wish I would have.

I like the challenge of turbo charging my mustang. I dont like to take the easy way out on doing anything. I really want to turbo my car and I am going to start on the project in a couple of days. I just really needed someone who has done this to give me advise and guide me in the right direction
