Need a headlight switch

When I bought my 05 it had an aftermarket dash kit in it. I swapped out my V6 bumpers for the GT bumpers over a month ago, never got around to wiring the foglights.

Well today I decided to start working on them. My headlight switch has a piece of the dash kit on it. It is the kind of kit that had an activator to make the covers stick.

So the switch looks like ass. Now Im going to have to find a switch, buy it, and wait for it to show up.

PITA. Nothings easy.

I also bought the mirror inserts from Midwest Auto Gear. I was on the pre-order list, I paid for them on the 21st. Since I was on the pre-order list I figured that mine would be among the first batch shipped. Nope. I called today and asked if they had been shipped. They "hope" to ship them by Friday.

Its Spring, Im ready for some mods. Murphys law is hard at work.

so the mirror inserts should be ready for the general public soon? i would like to get some with no paint on them and paint them myself.

The inserts are $65 painted and shipped.

I dont know if they are offering them unpainted.

They are shipping them now, Ive seen several photos of them installed, they really change the appearance of the whole car.

That will be the first non-Ford item on my car.

when you get the switch . you should get the gt one.it works and ill send you the info to wire it if you want. real simple
