I'd like to replace my damaged GT bumper with a saleen knock-off. Theres no way in hell I'd ever buy genuine Saleen body kit parts because of their horrendous quality.

So I was wondering if anyone had experience with aftermarket companies that sell the nose? Also what material is best?

I'd appreciate opinions on whether I need to add any other body parts to make it look right... i.e. do I need side skirts? If not, then I'm fine with the stock ones. I dont like the Saleen rear wing and my current rear bumper is fine. I'm ok with the stock hood too, but I am definately tempted by the cobra R hood if going to get paint work anyway...

Is the Saleen nose much lower than the GT with a chin spoiler? If not I guess the stock sides would be fine?

Finally, can you paint the stock mirrors or should I buy some Cobras? Anyone know where to get bullitt side scoops for cheap?

Saleen and Roush are iffy without the matching skirts, honestly it depends on the color and stance.

I think the Roush front end looks great on darker cars even without skirts, and the Saleen is iffy on all but White cars without the skirts...

Knockoffs might be a tad different, I dunno.

Just to give you an idea, the front bumper of saleens/roush/cobra are meant to flow with their sideskirts. It looks silly and out of place if not paired properly. aka. it will look silly.

As for the mirrors, just get them painted. :nice:

Yeah if you were going to get a Saleen bumper you would want to do the whole kit. I have a the actual Saleen kit and the quality is fine. The problem is CJ Pony Parts doesnt know how to paint. Ive had it painted twice and it is still flaking off. Dont go there for any body work.
