Need a New Steering Rack...Which One?

My stock rack is junk so I need a new one and I'm just wondering if anyone has had luck with a certain remanufactured rack. My steering rack is loose and I want my steering to be tight just like it was when it was new.

I've heard some bad things about AGR racks but I haven't ruled them out yet.

My Cardone power steering pump works great so I wonder how their racks are.

I'm also considering an 03 Cobra rack but am worried about fitment. I had to giveup on a Flaming River power rack because my Canton pan did allow for enough clearance.

You sure it is the rack? MY Cobra suffered from sloppy steering. Turns out, it was the bearing in the firewall around the steering shaft. The bearing cracked and fell down the shaft. I had 1/4" of play in the wheel. Once I got the new bearing in place, the car steered like new again. I coudln't believe it.

I've gone through the steering linkage pretty thoroughly and there's no slop. I replaced the stock shaft and that didn't help.

I've had the AGR steering Rack in my car for about 3 months now and I like it. It feels a little tighter than the stock one, no problems yet.
