My front strut is leaking oil, so Im going to replace it. and while Im doing stuts im going to buy shocks also.

Its lowered like 1.5-1.75" with eibach springs with no ISO in there so it sits alittle lower than normal.
It has subframes, and lower control arms. No sway bar in the front. There is a sway bar in the rear added. Previous owner said it has some drag shocks in the rear, IDK..im going to replace the shock now anyway.
Its my daily driver and I know you cant have both performance and smooth ride. so a good compromise would be nice, It more of a drag car than road race so.

My budget is... well Ill spend what it takes. If i cant afford a set Ill just get the struts for now and then finish with shocks.

Bilsteins HD sturts/shocks set
Ebay: $499
Maxium motorsports $598

OR

Tokico Illumina 5-way adj. struts/shocks set
Ebay:$379 + free shipping
maxium Motorsports: $522

OR

Regular Tokico HP's struts/shocks set
Ebay: $260 free shipping
maxium motorsports: $326

Should I spend the money and get the Bilsteins are they worth the extra money?
Should I go with adjustable Tokico illumina? is adjustable worth the extra money over non adjustables HPs?
Are tokico Hp's good enough and perform well for the money or perform just as well as the Illuminas?
where should I buy them from MM is alot more than ebay? ebay or MM?

I have heard bilsteins and Tokico Illuminas are great, but dont forget Koni.

Ive had KYB's, Tokico HP's, and so far my favorite is Koni.

easy

That's easy.

Bilstein all the way.

$499 at www.stangsuspension.com

I've driven Mustangs with stock, KYB, Koni and Bilstein.

Bilstein is hands down the best.

are you looking for a drag setup? I see your running no front sway bar... Car handles like ass without it IMO.

I have the Tokico HP's and they are very nice. Im considering an adjustable setup though.
