I was wondering if the trick flow engine kit (TFS-K514-350-370) would fit in a 1995 Mustang GT 5.0?

I know it's for the 5.0, but will it clear the hood? I know I need the TB adapter for SN95 Chassis, but what else do I need?

I was told I need a 3/8" intake spacer as well, do I need this? And will it clear the stock hood? I was also told I need to drill a hole in the valve covers and install an oil fill thing... I have no idea why.

1. Itll fit
2. yes
3. you dont need a spacer. why do you "need" to drill a hole? We have those in our valve covers.
4. If you want rockers, upgrade your valve covers to something like the foxes covers.

Well, I bought all these components before they offered it as a kit. It fits without any modifications. Clears the hood. You use the stock valve covers and leave them unmolested. As close to plug and play as you can get!! :nice:

This is what comes in the kit:
TFS-51400002 Twisted Wedge Cylinder Heads, pair
TFS-51511001 5.0L Street Intake Manifold, set
TFS-51402000 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft, each
TFS-51400510 Roller Rocker Arms, set of 16
TFS-21406700 Pushrods, set of 16
SUM-G6620 Roller Timing Chain Set, each
TFS-51400904 Gasket Kit, each
TFS-51400801 Silver Valve Covers, pair

So I could just use the stock valve covers, and won't need to drill anything? Thanks for the info guys! :)

Why did the TFS guy tell me I need a spacer for the intake? Just trying to move old stock?

Stock valve covers and trick flow 1.6rr's WONT work. Trust me... I tried them on my TW heads with 1.6 TFS rockers and they hit... Cant even get the covers to sit flush on the heads so I use the fox covers now... The reason why he said you might need the spacer is because the valve covers in the kit are probably taller like my fox covers, and since they are taller, it hits the intake elbow adapter where the EGR gets bolted up to, so I had to grind that down so it'd all fit.

If you order from summit be prepared for the roller rockers to be backordered forever I told them to give me the 1.7's instead I think they were the same price.

Also mo_dingo just installed his he said that he's going to do a write up once he gets everything running right unless he already did and the crash wiped it out.

I can take some pics for you today, because I blew a headgasket and have to tear everything apart again. Do yourself a favor. Buy Quality headgaskets. The ones I got with the kit weren't good. I bought fel-pro10112 now.
is this a N/A setup that the gaskets blew?
