Hello everyone,

I had an unfortunate incident with my car a couple of weeks ago and it looks like I'm going to need it torn down and rebuilt. Wondering if anyone here has any recommendations on a high performance engine builder in the socal area. They have to know what they're doing with the 4.6L.

Thanks for any recommendations you might have.

How far is Oxnard from you? Modular Mustang Racing makes great shortblocks for the 4.6... MMR. Then there is Coast High Performance, I've heard good things about them as well. CHP. Sorry I can't be of more help, I'm not from Cal.

their built 302 s/b is 3,199 , w heads 6,899, cnc ported 7,950
their built 281 s/b is 2,999, w heads 7,000, cnc ported 8,150


come with forged internals, arp hardware, and canton oil pan


The s/b is a good price but their heads included are a pir. But they have good prives on porting .

They are well known in the Pushrod racing world
