ok so i have a 2002 GT. it currently has a full exhaust system, k&n cai, and jetchips computer chip. i have a 75mm bbk throttle body and intake elbow on the way. my next upgrade will be the cams. now my question is which cams will provide the most power for the 2v 4.6? i was also wondering if anyone has a pro 5.0 shifter in their car? if so how are they?

If you are considering putting cams in your PI cylinder
heads I would get VT stage 1 or 2 cams. The VT cams
will give you alot of power for just cams.Lots of people
on this forum have had great results with the VT cams
in their car.I have never tryed the Pro 5.0 shifter but, I
have a Steeda Tri Ax shifter and I love it!

i've heard a lot of good things about the vt cams but i was kinda wondering if there's anything else out there that has that kind of performance and sound with a cheaper price tag. and i know about the steeda shifter but i can get a really good deal on the pro 5.0.

For cams expect to spend about $2000 for parts labor and tune.

I have the Steeda also, but i'm sure the pro 5.0 is just as good, as i've never heard a complaint about it, and a lot of people have them.....

i just ordered vt stage one cams because i didnt want to go through all the hassle of changing valve springs for 10hp at most(stock bottom end with stock heads). if your prepared to do heads and cams do the stage twos, but there goes $2000 even if your labor is free

I heard the Comp Cams were pretty good also. If i get a shifter, I would be leaning towards the MGW. I have only heard good things about it...
