Hi gang, I ordered a set of aussie 2v heads from Ausford. I plan to have them machined down the street, they will be going on top of a 351C 2v remanufactured 10k ago. I ordered from PAW a comp 270H magnum cam, comp
hyd anti pump up lifters, comp single valve springs and retainers. I think I am alright so far. depending on the feedback i get i was planning to order the following parts to finish this offaw Molly push rods, polly seals, multi groove keepers, paw stainless valves, Ford racing roller rocker arms. If anyone w/ experience with these heads can give me insight on my recipe or their own proven formula please let me know before i sink a grand into these heads. a couple things i am curious about are valve size's, ohio vs australia and pushrod guides, the Ford arms are bolt on with no guides needed. some extra info on the block,4v 600cfm performer carb,2v performer manifold, hooker comp headers,FMX/stock converter,9in. 2.75 open rear end, soon to be 3.00 traction loc. thank you's in advance for any help you can give me. Scott

I don't know who manufactures PAW 's house label valvetrain parts, but I would be leery. In the past I have found that their house label parts are cheaper for a reason, so I don't buy them anymore.

While I can't speak directly to your parts list, I'd like to point out that the valve stem length may have to be determined by the springs and the cam, as well as the push rod length.
Also, make sure that your machine shop understands that Cleveland heads are different than Windsor heads!!!!!

If you want a set of the best aussie clevelands youll ever get, get TK on performanceforums to build and port them for you.

Do a search on there and check out his porting work. Its second to none.

If the heads are already in the state I guess you can ignore this, but if they havent left australia yet, give TK a yell.

By most accounts you dont need to change the valve size on the 2v's. A little tickle porting them is usually all you need.
