ok hear it is i have done hundreds of clutchs in a mustang and never have i had this issue, i put a spec stage 2 clutch in my car tonite and now when ever i hook my clutch cable up it is keeping my clutch disengaged at all times and when i pulle the cable off everythng works like its supposed to. anybody have anyideas i have a fire wall adjuster on it and it is screwed all the way in its a stock fms clutch cable(non adjustable). thanks for all the help.:SNSign:

How are you getting the cable onto the quadrant and fork if the clutch is disengaged? If there's slack in the cable (to allow the cable to go on with ease), then that suggests a clutch issue, rather than the cable.

If you are having to pry the fork to get the cable on, how much are you having to pry it? What quadrant do you run (some require a longer cable)?

Good luck.

im able to get it on the quadrent but its while its all hooked up and thatt is when it stays disengaged , i have put another cable on now its adjustable and is working but i am still wondering why it would need a different cable. i have a bbk quadrent i think. and to answer your other question about how it goes on im mhaving to pry it back allmost half way atleast but when the clutch fork has no cable on it it is sittiong allmost rite at the back of the clutch fork opening. like i said i have done alot of these and have never ever had to use a different cable while running this clutch but anyways im still looking for a answer just so i know if anybody else ever has this issue. well thanks for the input an di appreciate any ideas thanks alot
