I'm wondering if anyone else had this trouble. I just got my Diablo Predator (Granatelli Motorsports) and I can't get it to download to the stock program. It keeps failing on the Key On/Key off part of the process. Tells me the download of the backup failed so it will not write. I also notice it cannot pull the VIN from my car. It does the live data reading, and will tell me the cal id. of my computer, but I can't get it to backup the stock program.

This is on my 99 GT.....any suggestions would help. I've already tried resetting the live table settings but that didn't help my problem.

Thank you!

if you have an aftermarket alarm put it in valet mode before you upload your vehicle program.

MAke sure you have no power on anything in your car, lights (int. or ext.), radio, radar detector, or an amp. There doesnt need to be any current draw except for the programmer while you do this.

i havent had a problem with mine and i normally listen to the radio and do it with the door open becasue its so hot and have never had a problem( i have an alpine aftermarket deck to with that box that lets you use the factory amps so i'm drawing more power from that not much but..)

Thanks for all the suggestions, the programmer is the right part number, I just checked it. And I did unplug my radar detector, cell phone charger, etc. This is so frustrating. I tried going through everything again today.

I did notice something weird though, I tried hooking it up to my laptop today to do the streaming data thing....and I didn't have that option in my live data menu. I'm starting to think I gotta lemon
