I'm trying to swap out the LED's in the switches on the center console. The lights that are in the rear window defrost, fog light switch, and traction control. After disassemblin the switch I found two led's between two post, no resistors. One LED is the always on which is at about 9.6 volts, and the other is turned on when the switch is pressed which is at about 11.3. Now searching online I cannot find and LED's, size 3mm or smaller, that will accept this much voltage. Most max out at about 2.5v. Has anyone else swapped out these out before or could shed some light on this subject. Dammit..... no pun intended.
