I own a web marketing/development firm in Texas. I was at the local Ford dealership pitching an idea and I would love to get your thoughts on the concept that I pitched to the dealership.
Idea: Mustang owners (most of them) are a special breed. There is no car that offers more after market products than the Mustang. Why don't you offer to be the friendliest Mustang dealer around by offering aftermarket performance parts, like we see in all the magazines.
When I was shopping for a car it would have been nice to hear..."Mike, would you like to add a supercharger to your stock stang or perhaps choose from one of the many wheel offerrings or body kits. We can easily add this to your financing and also make sure that your parts are covered under the original Warranty period.
In other words wouldnt it be great if you walked into a dealership and it was their job to treat Mustang owners with a first class level of service and let them choose from any of the performance/cosmetic upgrades and it could wrapped into to your monthly payment.
I know I would have probably bought a few thousand dollars worth of upgrades up front rather than having to fork over the cash at a later date. I would like to know your thoughts before I start building the concept website.
Any comments would surely be appreciated.

1. I realize that warranty issues will affect some parts that aren't FRPP.
2. Thought about limiting parts to well known parts like shelby, steeda, Roush, Saleen.
