I'm installing some gauges in the area where the factory CD player would be. Where is a good place to tap into the dash lights w/o ripping the dash apart or pulling the stereo? Can I use the wire from the ashtray light for all 3 bulbs? I'm open to other ideas as well.

Thanks

There is a harness in the right of the pocket where the factory cd player goes that will have a illumination wire in it, it is a rectuangular grey plug, look inside the opening on the right and you should see it.This would probally be the easiest since you will be right there already. dan

Gauges ehh? You didn't slip a stroker under the hood when I wasn't paying attention, did you?
I wish :D I just finally got tired of watching the factory idiot gauges read all over the place. I figure they are good monitors since she just rolled 166k. You know, just broken in and ready for a blower ;)

BTW, nice side exhaust :nice:

Thanks!:nice: That sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. I really didn't want to mess with my tempermental clock pod...BTW, the ashtray light is also dimmable(is that a word?)

Now to drill the hole in the firewall for the water temp sensor and oil pressure line...:bang: What happened to the good old days when cars had rubber plugs all over the place in the firewall?
