need help asap tightening serpentine belt??

hry guys, juss installed my waterpump, but now the belt is loose when i already tightened the tensioner, do i pull on it or adjust it somehow, id greatly appreciate ur help:SNSign:

Check to make sure you routed the belt properly. It should be pretty tight when you let the tensioner down on it... no adjustments necessary.

You probably routed the belt wrong. It's self tightening, you shouldn't have to do anything with it. So a search and you will find a pic.

I bet you forgot to run the belt under the idler pulley. The idler is to the passenger side of the PS pump. Naturally, the belt looks 'right' when run over the top of the idler, but the belt goes under the idler.
