I have a 92 mustang and the block is at the machine shop. The crank and block have been hot tanked and the block has been bore 0.030" over. I'm planning on using my stock rods 5.090" with 3" stroke, and wanted to purchase new pistons to freshen everything up. I'm running into some trouble here. I could really use as much help as I can get from all you experts.

I asked the machine shop to check into pistons for me, and they came back with $855. That was totally out of the question. So I'm looking at getting pistons myself.

Here's what's up:

Like I said I'm using my stock rods. My heads are the Trick Flow Twisted Wedge 170's and they're advertised as 61cc, however I dropped 1 head off at the machine shop to make sure that's the cc and it's actaully a 64cc they told me. I don't know my deck clearance since the block is torn apart. I'm not exactly sure of my head gasket's thickness or bore. I bought a Fel-Pro gasket kit from Advance Auto and there aren't any specs on the head gasket from what I can find, so I'm assuming they're just standard sized. I want to get forged aluminum pistons and what 9:1 compression.

I contacted JEGS and Summit and they all came back with different compressions for the same pistons. The following are the pistons that I've been directed to

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SLP-L2488F30/
These are Sealed Power and was leaning more towards them but I was told it would be 9:1, 9.35:1, 9.45:1, and 9.22:1??
No one is giving me a straight answer

I was also steered towards these and was told 9:1 compression, 8.72:1, and 8.5:1??

Then there was these which I was told 9:1, 8.92:1, and 8.62:1

I know I'll need flat tops, but I definitely need 9:1 compression! What piston head volume will I need for my 9:1? I was told 2.00cc for the piston head volume and was directed to the following

ANY HELP is appreciated, I know it's a lot of info but I need to get these pistons ASAP, the machine shop is crazy with their price.
