Do wheel spacers go behind the rotor Or do I have extra long studs?

get the ones that bolt to the rotor, {hub centric} no they go over the rotor, I wouldn't install them on the front, I have 25mm (1") in the back... no problems.

Thats what I have but the studs on the car stick out to far for the spacer to fit flush?

also spacers without the bolts tend to come off

the wheel will allow a little space, install the spacer with two nuts then see if the wheel will fit flush. If they will install the rest of the studs then the wheel.

The stock studs are sticking through the spacer about 1/2 inch. So the wheel will not sit flush against the spacer. Do I need shorter studs?

neither did mine, did you try to install the wheel ?

if you have tried to mount it and it won't sit flush then YES you need shorter studs but mine extended past the spacer as well but the wheel will mount flush.

Yah, the studs are just too long. I guess I could gring a little off the stud.

install the lug nut before you grind so when done grinding, removing the lug will straighten the threads.

Thy type of spacer you are using is VERY weak and WILL break unless you drive like an old lady.
Do it the right way, Buy a standard spacer (no lugs in it) and get aftermarket longer lugs in your rear axle.
I assume this is a cosmetic thing your trying to do, because there is NO performance gain from doing this.
Your $$ is best spent elseware...
Get some lowering springs.

you have it backwards! I snapped 2 sets of studs then bought the studded adapter and haven't had a problem. BUT if you have some serious HP adapters need to be steel made by a machine shop.
