Need help fast!!!

Installing New Accufab Plenum/TB and CAI well everything has been going smoothly until i reconnected the throttle cable and there is slack when i open it up by hand and let it go the cable is slapping and there is a lot of slack how do i cure this prob. Thanks guys

Sounds like you forgot to put the throttle return spring back on...is this the problem?

Granted I don't have an Accufab TB but, most are generally the same. Are you sure you have the throttle linkage properly hooked up to the throttle body? Sometimes, the end of the cable isn't properly seated in it's groove, if that makes sense. Also, cruise control line, I assume that's hooked up too, right? You can always follow the line back to see if there's anything that stands out.

Also, how does it feel when you press on the gas pedal?

there will be a certain amount of slack in it after the install. but if you are having that much slack it isn't hooked up right obviously. is the cable line ran back through the groove on the spring return??? that's about the only thing i can think of

I haven't checked the pedal but the cable and everything is ran exactly the same way it was before.
