I've been looking for a 87-93 notch and I'm not having any luck. So I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to go about for looking for 1. I have found 2 verts since I have started my search but that's about it. I really love the way the notch looks and just wana find 1 to start working on. If you have any pointers let me know. Thanks so much.

Are you looking for the 5.0 or just a notch fox? Craigslist is a good place to start, or e-bay.

I would love to find 1 w/o the 5.0. Simply because the insurance is less. The plans are to put a 5.0 in it anyway. So I guess it doesn't really matter. I just really want a notch. Oh and thanks I'll start looking there.

UGH!!! Craiglist only had 3 foxes and they were verts and Ebay didn't even have any cars just accessories. I'm so frustrated. I tried a bunch of different searches and still nothing. I'm dying to get my hands on a notch. If anyone can help please do. Thanks a bunch.

Local newspaper? How 'bout a local Mustang forum? Look out of state too. States closest to yours.

I have a Notch.

With "notchbacks" being to the fox, what the "fastback is to the classics, prices are up there?

If you really want a notchback, and you have patience, the right deal will come along. You don't want to settle for the wrong car. I am guilty of having the notch jump ('90 SSP) myself, and ended up regretting my purchase. As the excitement wore off the rust stayed

My brother on the other hand being the patient one, waited and scored an amazingly clean 1981 project with virtually no rust

Hang in there and keep your eyes open, you'll find "the one"

they are rare, because everyone wants one. either there usin it for drag racing or just for the looks, its hard to find em now. i was lookin for a notch last year an ended up buyin my 90 hatch. not somethin i regret doing really. but i still dont have a notch. now im lookin for a notch roller an maybe trading my hatch for it. like Coast2coastang said..patience will land you not only a better deal but a nicer car an less of a headache. ive seen a beat up fox sell for $6000 that was really in bad shape all around, but thats probably because that money was burnin a whole in someones pocket. look around..an look over the car good before you buy it.
