My 9inch is leaking out the side of the tube. I pulled the seal but cant read a number on it. The guys at the parts store are not good. I have 28 spline shafts if that helps. Thanks
If your rearend is from a car, it's the smaller diameter of the two. There were two size 28 spline axles, the larger fits pickups and big car 9's. These had 31 spline sized axles on the outer ends, necking down to 28 size about 6 inchs in.
