Hey guys, I don't post here that often (sorry!), but am really trying to get some answers. It's more than just an appearance question, so here it goes:

I need a new hood because of that chronic bubbling issue. I have finally decided on going with a heat extractor. I've asked around about it, but not many solid answers. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough. I really do not like the squared-off look on this one:

...and it almost seems like too much cowl for road racing.

I have settled on the Boy Racer hood (I know, the name just sounds kind of strange), because there is no cowl:

Here's the deal: will this hood give me enough clearance underneath with my Vortech V-3 HO? This site says "no":

http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?i...M01&c=EX&m=all

However, I called up Mr Bodykit and they say as long as my Vortech fits under the OEM hood, it will fit under the Boy Racer...even though the Boy Racer lowers a little.

Listen, guys, my whole hesitation here is that NO ONE can give me a firm, "Yes, it will fit because I have that hood AND a centrifugal blower...it fits fine." Last thing I need is to drop $800 + shipping on a hood, get it, and it doesn't fit.

There has to be someone out there who runs this setup...please advise, and thanks in advance!

Check out Cervini, they have a ton of hood choices.

I also would recommend Cervini or Kaenen; Mr. Bodykit is known for having fitment issues. Cervini is known for very high quality hoods.
