I honestly don’t know i haven’t looked to deep into the where the harness goes. It looks like an engine harness the power came from a red wire with a yellow tracer. I took some more photos I’ll attach those. I don’t know what wires it hooks into I’ll check soon I just have to pull apart that harness to check.It [might] be a Mass Air Flow extender.
Can you tell if it's tied in with MAF wiring?
They aren’t part numbers they’re all on each thing on the circuit board. I have a part number on the back but it doesn’t come back to anything.What are the numbers below the wires? May be able to look it up online if its a part number or something.
I honestly was wondering the same thing if you look I show where the wires go I the red and black were power and green and white look like they’re connected were spliced in to both ends of a cut wire I’m gonna do some more investigating into what wire it breaks the connection for I’ll post it when I know.Do you know anything about the history of the vehicle regarding previous ownership.
I ask because that looks like a tracking unit (black box) used for fleet management (location, fuel, speed, etc) or Security device (GPS locator) or repossession tracker.
Check [if possible] if the wiring goes to the battery or the ECU.
Battery connection can indicate a possible tracking/security device and ECU connection possibly a performance tracker.

The key I have is original and so is the fob. I’ve only had the car for a couple years. So it could’ve been lost before i owned it.Does it have an aftermarket key fob/alarm/remote start system?
