well, i have a 94 ranger with the DIS 2.3/5-speed, on the way to school it died on me, it is not getting spark, i think the crank position sensor is wrong with it, how do you unplug it? do i have to take something else off to get to it, i have the timing belt cover, and other stuff off of it, pics would be helpful

Honestly, I would suspect the ignition module first. It's connected to your intake manifold and it's rectangular. Replace that first. Crank sensors usually don't go bad as often as the ignition modules do. Plus, an ignition module is much easier to replace!

i replaced it with one that checked out to be good, i am gonna try one i know is good, and then the rest of the stuff is coming off the front of the motor
